Cricket Club Quiz Night

A Quiz Night to raise funds for Halverstown Cricket Club will be held in O’Connells Bar on Thursday 18 May, writes Brian Byrne.

There’s a promise of a ‘brilliant’ night out in support of a club which has been in existence since 1885. Prizes and a raffle are included.

The usual entry fee of €40 for a table of four. Questions start at 8pm.

Halverstown Cricket Club has its pitch at Harristown, and the season runs from April through September. The Club hosts more than 30 games during the year, including an annual visit from a very special UK team selection, the White City All-Stars.
