Exploring Crean's Place

Just to note for anyone who might not have yet walked that far that Kilcullen's latest cafe, Crean's Place, is now open, writes Brian Byrne.

Just down the hill from Berney Bros Saddlers, the eatery will be open from 7.30am-3pm each day at the moment, with an interesting Breakfast menu available through the day, priced from €7-€9.50. Suggestions include Cinnamon and Honey Porridge with sugared plums, and Crean's Eggsploration with South Asia and Middle East inputs.

From 11.30am, a further range of Mid-Day Delights are available from €4.50-€12.50, including salads, ragout, club sandwich, burger or turkey melt.

It all sounds well worth exploring …
