Murder in the Town Hall on Friday, Saturday

There are still tickets available for the presentation of Agatha Christie's 'A Murder is Announced' this weekend in Kilcullen Town Hall Theatre — Friday/Saturday May 11/12, writes Brian Byrne.

Tickets will be available on the door, but the way they are selling, you'll need to reserve yours quickly to ensure a chance to sit on the edge of your seat ...

With a cast of 11 talented local actors from the Drama Dynamics adult acting group, it promises to be an engaging and gripping production of the classic whodunnit, which begins with a local paper notice giving the time and place of a future murder.

The detective is one of the author's most loved, the imperturbable Miss Marple, played by Margaret Fitzgerald, who has to unravel a classic Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, a second death, and a determined Inspector.

The other cast members are Emer Byrne, Beatrice Maxwell, Paula Meehan, Ray Kelly, Esther Kiely, Mary Murphy, Owen O'Sullivan, John Acton, David Noble, and Eoin Houlihan.

Not to be missed, the mystery begins at 8pm.
